Happy Halloween... a few days late. We had such a wonderful Halloween and another busy weekend. We started the day shopping with Luke and Carter's buddies Cason and Holden and their mommy. Stacey and I decided to try the unheard of--we took the babies to lunch with just the two of us. The restaurant was to small to take in strollers so we each carried in our two toddlers, diaper bags and our purses. Once we got in the door all eyes turned to us. We looked at each other wondering how we were going to keep four babies contained while we rounded up every single highchair in the whole place. We got the babies settled and were actually able to eat a somewhat decent meal. Not much conversation and it was the fasted meal I have ever ate, but we can say SUCCESS to our outing. Unfortunately I don't have a picture to share, but I will attest that it was a very interesting sight.
That evening we attended a toddler Halloween Party with our SS group. The babies did great and kept their adorable costumes on the entire time. This year I picked costumes that fit their personalities. Carter was a little sinker skunk and Luke was a Monkey. I really enjoyed seeing all the babies dressed up and playing with each other as if they were older children interacting together. When we got in the car the babies were taking turns talking as if they were discussing how much fun they had with their friends. They were very tired at that point so we decided to forgo trick or treating this year. It's not like they can eat the candy and we all know I sure don't need it. Happy Halloween to all!!!
